Story Time’s partnership with parents is key to helping you raise resilient and productive children. Story Time encourages and nurtures a strong relationship with parents, starting with good communication. We know that your child’s well-being is your first priority. And when your child is in our care, we share that same concern.

So rest easy knowing that Story Time is here for you and your entire family. Our commitment to helping local families extends beyond our doors. We offer transportation to local elementary schools as follows: from Morningside Avenue, buses travel to Mater Dei and Spalding Park Elementary; from South Cecelia, buses travel to Morningside Elementary; and from North Sioux City, buses travel to Dakota Valley Elementary.

We serve a healthy and delicious breakfast, lunch and snack as the day progresses. As a participant in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) of Iowa, we are a fully federally-funded meal reimbursement facility that also offers multiple outreach programs. Those programs include Farm to CACFP, Meaningful Mealtimes, Trying New Foods, Opportunities for Active Play, Nutrition Education, Smarter Mealtime Scorecard, CACFP Meal Pattern Best Practices, and Healthy Menu Makeover. These modules help teach kids and their families the best practices for a lifetime of healthy meal planning, food preparation, eating and mealtime communication.

Our 3 Iowa locations voluntarily participate in the Quality Rating System (QRS) for licensed child care centers. We are proud to say that our valued experience, education and credentials have earned us a Level 4 for all 3 Iowa locations.

All 4 of Story Time Preschools and Child Care Centers accept Iowa Child Care Assistance. This aid helps families to receive the support they need. We also accept South Dakota Assistance at our North Sioux City location and Nebraska Assistance at our Pierce location.
